The shape and structure of Viscum matches that exactly of the female clitoral muscles. It is not a co-incidence that Viscum acts on the nervous system, particularly on the female reporductive system to re-nourish, relax and replenish the tissues here. 

Mistletoe has a strong action on the heart and circulation, particularly when we have restricted this due to tension. It is not a typical 'Anti-spasmodic' reducing spasm, it acts more long term through blood flow and via subtler relaxation, at a much deeper level within the tissues. 

Emotionally, this is my number one remedy for sexual tension and a history of past abuse,  in women. Viscum restores the connection to the divine feminine within, and allows deep tension and trauma to be released, while replenishing the sacred feminine challice (Pelvic bowl and Wombspace).
