Dandelion is a wonderful medicine, used for centuries as an alterative and blood purifier.  Now, more commonly used as a Liver remedy and to remove heat and dampness within the tissues. 
Dandelion increases secretion of bile, which both stimulites movment of the fluids and restores function of the Gallbladder, at the same time, it works on the kidneys to excrete unwanted fluids, and retain fluids of importance.
